The previous Webnode site demanded too much manual upkeep, especially updating prices per product, which became unsustainable as the business grew. Catering, a recent strategic bet, had no visibility of its own next to Custom Cakes and the Event Hall. The brand was also moving toward a more formal image, and the old site couldn’t support it.
Design a low-maintenance, future-proof website that gives Catering equal weight, projects a more mature brand, and turns visitors into quote requests.
Customers planning celebrations and events who want quick answers, trust, and personalization. Also the owner, who needs a site that doesn’t consume her time.
Fixed prices were replaced with a quote-request system, removing constant manual updates and matching what customers look for: requesting quotes online and checking availability.
A new information architecture with Catering as a standalone service, a darker and more formal visual direction that keeps the original palette, and a modular design system built to absorb a future logo, identity, and domain change without a redesign.
Less upfront price transparency for visitors.
